Proud Theater is a statewide organization made up of units we call chapters. Chapters are our presence in your local community. While chapters may primarily meet and hold events in one community, all youth and community members are welcome to join Proud Theater or attend events regardless of whether their community is in the chapter’s name or not.
Each chapter features a unique cast, different directing team, and different array of community programing and events. All chapters of Proud Theater serve youth ages 13-18 and use the Proud Theater process to create original performance work directly out of youths’ intersectional identities and experiences and engaging in community advocacy, education, and arts-activism.
