Proud Theater staff, volunteers, and youth from Madison and Sun Prairie hit the road and joined members of the Proud Theater family from Milwaukee at Fair Wisconsin’s Milwaukee Gala to accept their Organization of the Year Award on behalf of Proud Theater. Given annually, this award recognizes an organization in Wisconsin that has made significant contributions to the queer community.
Proud Theater was honored to receive the award. Executive Director Brian Wild gave an acceptance speech, followed by youth from Proud Theater-Madison, Proud Theater-Milwaukee, and Proud Theater-Green Bay joining forces to perform some key favorites from Proud Theater’s extensive repertoire of original works.
