Proud Theater-Wausau is kicking off its 2021-22 season September 29th at 5:30pm at the First Universalist Unitarian Church of Wausau (504 Grant Street, Wausau, WI 54403). Rehearsals will continue every Wednesday night, 5:30-8:30, at UU Wausau.
This season comes after a hiatus due to COVID-19. The pandemic is still ongoing, and precautions will be in place to keep participants safe.
Rehearsals can also be offered in a hybrid format as needed. If you want to join a rehearsal virtually, please let Proud Theater-Wausau know.
No acting experience is necessary, and people of all abilities are encouraged to join. Proud Theater chapters have open enrollment, meaning there are no auditions or applications to join. Anyone interested in joining can attend any rehearsal at the start of the season to try it out without needing to commit for the full season.
Proud Theater-Wausau is open to LGBTQ+ and allied youth ages 13-19. Rehearsals and shows take place in Wausau, but you do not need to live in Wausau or Marathon County to join.
