The Marathon Co. Youth Council (MCYC) is partnering with Proud Theater-Wausau to host a free, youth-centered & organized creative expression event with an open mic format. Participants will present performances relating to social/community issues that we often tend to ignore but that we all feel such as loneliness, stress, racism, homophobia, misogyny, connection, mental health — or anything you care about that isn’t visible enough. If you have a poem, spoken word piece, dance, monologue, song, dance or any other form of expression, come share it!
The event is free to attend and perform. While the performers will be youth and young adults, all ages are invited and welcomed to attend.
